What do you do when your client wants a church-style wedding, but on a Turks & Caicos beach instead of inside a chapel? You make it work, of course.
Hannah and Ryan live in Florida, but they have a Turks & Caicos connection — Hannah’s mother, Donna, has a local TV show called Eye on TCI. That connection made it easy to decide on their wedding destination. Together, we created a fairytale/mermaid-themed wedding brought to life with sparkly turquoise linens and gold-painted oyster shells. And with Hannah taking Ryan’s last name, Cotton, she came up with the idea to incorporate local hand-picked cotton into their centerpieces. It was a beautifully unique alternative to other more traditional reception centerpieces. And it was even more special because of its relevance both to the couple and to the Turks & Caicos.
The family did their part to help, too, with Hannah’s aunt making her simple but elegant bouquet. But back to that church-style beach wedding idea. We worked together to find the perfect setup to match the couple’s vision. And the result? Have a look for yourself. Let us know what you think!
