Two years in the making thanks to a Covid postponement, we knew Leighann and Rick’s wedding at Ocean Club West had to be a good one. And with 65 of their closest friends and family gathered with them on Grace Bay Beach as they finally said their vows recently, this couple’s wedding day turned out absolutely perfect.
Leighann and Rick were together for 10 years before tying the knot. And after waiting two years to make it official, it’s no wonder their wedding them was “Finally!”
The couple’s wedding festivities kicked off at Omar’s Beach Hut to welcome all their guests to the Turks & Caicos, followed by a rehearsal on the beach at Bay Bistro. When it came to the big day, Leighann and Rick said their I do’s on the beach in front of Ocean Club West, followed by a fun-filled reception at Solana. And it was a gorgeous day for a wedding, punctuated with soft blush colors that carried from the bridesmaid dresses to the florals and decor — and even the signature soft pink umbrellas on the beach in front of the resort.
Other memorable moments included Leighann and Rick’s first look before the wedding, and Leighann being hoisted in a chair at her reception — a Jewish tradition that, despite not being Jewish, Leighann loved. So we made it happen!
The fun energy carried through until the very end, with the night coming to a close with the song “Shout!” Even the groom cutting his foot during the song couldn’t damper the evening — and luckily they had a nurse on duty.
Overall, this wedding was a beautiful tribute to Leighann and Rick’s 10 years together. May the next 10 be even better than the first! Wishing you both all the happiness in the world.
