Nareine and Rob’s wedding story begins pre-pandemic — they had already been to the Turks & Caicos together several times before choosing the island for their wedding. And then came the pandemic, forcing them to change their wedding date again, and then again. But as restrictions lifted, we were finally able to give them their dream wedding at Royal West Indies this summer with a small group of their close friends and family. And it was certainly worth the wait.
While most couples dread the thought of rain on their wedding day, it often ends up making for a memorable day and almost always work out well in the end — and such was the case for Nareine and Rob. An unexpected rainstorm gave the couple a chance to capture some special photos together before the wedding, and the rain cleared up just in time for their beach ceremony and reception (truthfully, it rarely lasts long!)
We love witnessing two families come together, and Nareine and Rob’s children played a big role in their ceremony as their bridesmaid and groomsmen. They exchanged their vows on the sand with the calm waters of Grace Bay behind them, surrounded by their loved ones and pastel pops of pink in their florals and decor.
The newlyweds wrapped up their evening with a beautiful reception under the stars and twinkling string lights at Pelican Bay with their beautiful blush-colored setup, from the florals to the table cloths to the napkins.
We’re so pleased we were finally able to give Nareine and Rob the wedding they waited so long for. Congratulations to a gorgeous, fun-loving couple!
