It’s been some time since we celebrated the fabulous wedding of Catherine and Taylor at The Shore Club Turks & Caicos, but we would be remiss if we didn’t share with you the photos and story behind this show-stopping event.
Catherine and her family have a home in the Turks & Caicos, where they’ve been coming for many years. So after Taylor proposed while on vacation in Capri, Italy, there was no question about it—they would be married on the island Catherine considers a second home, Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos.
The couple decided to enlist the help of a wedding planner, and after consulting with their contacts on the island they chose Tropical Destination Management with our 15 years of event planning in Turks & Caicos.
Catherine’s vision for her and Taylor’s wedding: An all-white wedding with a touch of glam. The stunning details at The Shore Club helped add that little extra something, including the courtyard water feature—which Catherine decided to include in the ceremony. We make sure our clients get exactly what they want when it comes to one of the biggest day of their lives, so we had a custom bridge made just for Catherine to walk down the aisle over the water feature she loved so much.
The entire wedding weekend was one of the most memorable we’ve had the pleasure of planning, from a boat trip for Catherine and Taylor’s guests to a celebratory lunch at the bride’s parents’ beautiful home on the water—the perfect lead-up to the couple’s glamorous wedding day.
It was our honor to play a part in bringing all the wedding details to life for Catherine and Taylor, from the elegant florals to the exquisite table setups and custom signage. And the evening ended exactly as it should, with the newlyweds and their friends and family dancing all evening under a canopy of stars and fireworks.
Catherine and Taylor’s advice? Hire a wedding planner so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your special day. Without a planner, Catherine said, she would not have been able to get everything done on her own as it’s particularly difficult when you’re not on the island.
