We love when couples add their own personal touches to their wedding day. And Traci and Scot made sure their Turks & Caicos wedding was a reflection of who they were as they exchanged their vows by the sea at Blue Haven Resort.
Rather than using a local wedding officiant, the couple opted to have a close friend perform their ceremony who was able to incorporate personal notes to the bride and groom. And in lieu of traditional party favors, Traci and Scot made a donation in their guests’ honor to the Turks & Caicos Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TCSPCA). The local animal welfare organization is special to Traci and Scott, and they’ve helped the TCSPCA by transporting dogs from the island to their new owners in the U.S.
The little details from this wedding went a long way, from the flower-adorned tiki torches lining the wedding aisle, to the adorable wedding programs that doubled as personal fans. And in keeping with the island theme, Traci and Scot traded the traditional rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding for a beach BBQ with live steel drum music to set the tone for the weekend.
Traci and Scott, we wish you all the best as you start your journey together as husband and wife—and thank you for choosing to support such an important organization on our little island as part of your wedding!
