When Tara and Jason began their planning journey to Turks and Caicos, not everything started so smoothly. When their original venue did not work out as planned, they enlisted our help to create their vision in a new location.
We immediately sprang into action and with the help of Tara’s parents during a site visit, and a lot of photos back and forth – we found them the ultimate destination of the Blue Haven Resort and in combination with their sister property the Beach House, this couple had everything they needed.
With such a large diverse group coming in from New York among other areas we needed to put together a magical weekend they would never forget. We started with a welcome party at Salt (a marina style beach bar) located at Blue Haven Resort. From there the guests spent the weekend relaxing on the beach, and on Friday evening we had an amazing beach bbq right out on the waters edge of the Beach House. String lighting, a huge bonfire, wooden tables, beach themed décor, a live reggae band and slideshow made the evening a huge success.
The big day was filled with anticipation. Finally the day was here and all the visions were finally coming to life. Tara and Jason wanted a wedding that had both a soft, romantic, elegant feel but with a touch of that rustic beach element that they both know and love. We feel that they achieved just that.
We used crisp white linens, large manzanita branches, soft flowers, rustic lanterns, bamboo chargers and an abundance of candles. Thank you to Flowers by EA for their assistance.
It was a pleasure putting Tara and Jason’s vision together with the entire family. We wish them all the best in their future together.
