When you’re surrounded by your closest friends and family on your wedding weekend at a beautiful villa on Grace Bay Beach, it’s hard for a little bit of poor weather to get you down. Looking at these photos, what you’re more likely to notice is the gorgeously dressed bride and groom, the soft pastel florals, and the unique and dreamy circular arch under which the couple, Sarah and Sam, said their vows.
After eight years together and an engagement in the Turks & Caicos, Sarah and Sam returned to the islands this summer to tie the knot on the beach in an intimate ceremony on Grace Bay in front of their rental villa, the picturesque Coral Pavilion. Before their swoon-worthy ceremony, the couple spent the weekend showing their friends around the island, which included an afternoon boat trip and welcome rehearsal party at the Royal West Indies Resort on the beach. And despite uncooperative weather over the weekend, the addition of some last-minute tents saved the day.
Sarah and Sam had a rustic-style wedding that exuded elegance with its greenery and soft florals. And their floral-draped round arch was not only pleasing to the eye, but it also symbolized their eternal spiritual connection.
For their reception, Sarah and Sam included a nod to their favorite artist, Prince (who also loved the Turks & Caicos and owned a home here): With the dance floor lit up in purple, the couple shared their first dance together to Prince’s “Adore”.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Sarah and Sam, thanks for choosing Tropical DMC to be a part of your wedding day.
