This dreamy bohemian Turks & Caicos wedding had it all: A uniquely classy wedding arch adorned in monstera leaves, gorgeous pastel florals in miniature shimmery gold vases, an intimate seaside reception dinner, and mugs of colorful rum punch for all. Now that’s a winning recipe when it comes to bringing a dream wedding to life.
Brooke and Joonghee exchanged their vows at Brooke’s family home on Taylor Bay Beach, a quiet beach on the south side of Providenciales known for its calm, shallow waters and mesmerizing sunsets. This was the second wedding we planned at the villa, with Brooke’s older sister getting married there before her. What a pleasure it was to help plan yet another wedding for the family. This time, with the couple’s families there to bear witness (and Joonghee’s family traveling all the way from South Korea), Brooke and Joonghee were married by the sea in a small, intimate ceremony.
There’s a lesson to be learned in this lovely wedding, and it’s this: Small weddings can still make a big impression. The size of your wedding doesn’t matter—not one bit. It’s all about the little touches that can make your celebration a truly special one. And Brooke and Joonghee’s wedding, with its whimsical and dreamlike bohemian style, was certainly one of our favorites.
